I feel so safe and secure having my sd cards stored in this case. It’s water & dust proof so when I have my sd cards stored in here for months on end to keep archives for my weddings, I know I don’t have to worry. And rather than having multiple smaller sd card holders, this is the perfect size so they’re all in one place.
If you’re wondering which specific sd cards to get for weddings days, these are it—specifically the speed. When I was starting out, I didn’t even realize that there were different speeds for SD cards. But now I know that it makes all the difference. So I get the 64GB 200mb/s because its the perfect amount of storage for a wedding day & if I am capturing moments really quickly, I know that it will keep up with me.
PRO TIP for those of you that are beginners: Make sure you are dual slot recording, so you have 2 sd cards rather than one. But if you’re just doing sessions 32GB will be plenty for you.
I use this as my travel case for backup cards I would need. So if a card corrupts or I fill the card during a wedding, I’ll have extra sd cards clipped to my bag. It’s quick to access and these are also water resistant.
This is for all my type-a peoople out there. These have been such a life saver for me. I’m sure you can relate to having so many sd cards that all look the same and have no idea what images are on what unless you physically put it in your camera and look through or plug it into your laptop. These are probably my favorite SSDs out of the bunch. In my opinion, they’re the quickest & most reliable. I’ve used other SSDs that randomly disconnect or have trouble mounting with my Mac, and so far, these have given me no issues. They are a similar price point if not the same as other SSDs. and they come in a cute beige—LOL.
