For wedding days you actually get to experience—unhurried, intentional, and completely yours.

New England documentary wedding photographer creating spacious, intentional days worth savoring

Time to linger during golden hour instead of speed-walking to cocktail hour. Time to actually hug your grandmother instead of being whisked away for another round of family portraits. Time to take a breath, look at your partner, and think, “We just got MARRIED.”

A slow-paced day is the real luxury.

Your wedding day should feel like the best day of your life—not a sprint to the honeymoon.

The documentary-style, stunning photos are a given. But really, I'm your biggest advocate for an intentional day you get to enjoy. When you're not performing for the camera or watching the clock, you get to be fully present, completely THERE.

This spacious, intentional approach is my entire philosophy.

That’s why I encourage longer coverage, suggest first looks, and build photo timelines with actual breathing room.

The difference between a wedding that goes by in a blur and one you actually experience? Time.

tell me all about it

Dreaming of a relaxed, intentional wedding day?

I'm obsessed with two things: making sure your wedding photos are stunning (and show off your venue–whether you’re getting married in New England or having a destination celebration), and making sure your day doesn't feel like you blinked twice and it was over. I notice the tiny details you spent three weeks debating, I build in breathing room so you can actually enjoy your dinner, and I show up as someone who genuinely cares how your day feels to you two.

Bottom line: I make sure you have time to truly experience the moments you've been dreaming about, and gorgeous photos to relive them.

I'm the New England documentary wedding photographer who shows up with a clear vision, expert guidance, and genuine care for how your day unfolds.

I’m Jess!

My happy place: snuggling with my cats in a cozy cottage, tea on the stove, fresh baked goods, candles galore

My favorite daytime date activity: Barnes & Noble and baking

I will never say no to a slice of cheesecake

I burn a specific "editing candle" while working on galleries (yes, really)

I'm extremely proud of my to-do list organization system

Dance breaks are mandatory during long editing sessions

Fall is my favorite season (I’m so lucky to live in New England.)

“Our full gallery completely exceeded our expectations. My jaw still drops looking at them.”

How long until I get my photos?

Your full gallery lands in your inbox 10-12 weeks after your wedding. But don't worry—you'll get sneak peeks within 48-72 hours to post, share, and stare at obsessively while you wait for the rest.

We're SO awkward in front of the camera. Help?

I hear this on literally every first call. Then we work together and suddenly you're laughing, moving naturally, and asking, "Wait, that's it?" My documentary approach shouldn't feel like a performance—I'll guide you through everything so it just feels like hanging out.

Can you explain how the wedding photography process works?

That's exactly what I'm here for. After you book, you'll get a welcome guide that breaks down every step of the luxury wedding photography process. We'll have check-in calls, I'll create your custom timeline, and by your wedding day, you'll know exactly what to expect. No question is too small.

Will you take formal shots AND candids?

The answer is yes. You'll get the composed family portraits and those editorial couples shots you see all over social media, plus all the documentary-style candid moments you didn't even know were happening. Best of both worlds, every time.

Do you travel outside of New England?

Yes, and I love it. I'm based in Massachusetts and photograph most of my weddings in New England, but if you're getting married somewhere else—Europe, the mountains, literally anywhere—I'm there. Just say the word.

Can we see full documentary-style wedding galleries?

Yes! During our call, you can request to see full wedding galleries so you can see what a complete wedding day looks like—not just the highlight reel.

How many photos will we get?

Typically 60-80 photos per hour of coverage. Every image in your gallery is one I'd be proud to print and frame—no filler, no almost-good-enough shots, just the keepers.

Share your New England or destination wedding plans and let's create a dreamy, intentional day you’ll never forget.

Okay, you know me—now let me get to know you.
