The flowers will wilt, the cake will be eaten, the dress will go in storage—but your photos are what you'll look at on anniversaries, share with the people you love, and treasure for the rest of your life.
My approach as a candid wedding photographer has revolved around one belief: the best photos come from couples who are present, not performing.
Everything I do—from timeline structure to how much time we spend together before your wedding—helps you step fully into the experience of your day. That means actually joining cocktail hour instead of being whisked away for more portraits. Dancing the night away instead of watching the clock. Taking that quiet moment with your partner to take it all in instead of rushing to the next thing.
The Simonellis
“Every photo captures the emotion and warmth of the moment so beautifully that we’re reliving the best day every time we look at them. She even caught the moments we weren’t present for which is such a gift to get to see. Jess is truly talented, our friends and family can’t stop talking about how amazing our photos came out.”
“My Husband and I aren’t great in front of a camera but Jess was there with great prompts to get the best shots. Every photo from our engagement shoot to our wedding day was absolutely perfect and everything I could’ve asked for. I could honestly not be happier!”
The Georgys
“Every image takes us right back to how the day felt, not just how it looked. We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and warmth that went into every shot. Even our friends and family were raving about how fantastic she was!”

Your photos will look like your actual day—messy toasts, happy tears, the moments that made it yours. And I'll be upfront about what will help your day feel spacious instead of rushed, so you can actually be at ease and present instead of watching the clock.
This is your first wedding and my hundredth. I answer every question, explain every step, and make the whole process feel way less overwhelming than you thought it would be. Promise.
You've made a thousand tiny decisions for this day, and when you scroll through your gallery, you'll see every single one of them. The florals you debated for weeks. The reception layout you perfected. The color palette you pulled together. All of it, documented even better than you imagined it.
After five years of photographing candid weddings throughout New England, I know how to work with different venue styles, find the best light, and capture the unique vibe of every wedding day. I also love destination weddings—exploring new locations and bringing fresh creative energy to celebrations is some of my most inspired work.
As a candid wedding photographer, I'm known for creating timelines that build in buffer time, suggest first looks when they make sense, and structure your day so it flows instead of feeling like a race. The pacing of your day affects everything—how present you feel, how natural you look in photos, whether you actually get to enjoy what you planned.
Before your wedding, you'll fill out two questionnaires: one so I can learn your love story and all the details that matter to you, and another so I know exactly which family and wedding party photos are must-haves. By wedding day, I already know what a dream photo gallery looks like for you two.
When you book milestone sessions for anniversaries, growing families, or maternity photos, you get something special: a photographer who already knows you. There's no awkward small talk, no getting-to-know-you phase. We pick up right where we left off, and the photos reflect that comfort and history.
I want to hear your jokes, see how you look at each other, and know what makes you burst into laughter. Whether it's an engagement session, the big day itself, or an anniversary shoot two years later, I want your photos to feel like you.
authentic moments,

When you look through your wedding gallery months later you’ll feel it all over again—the anticipation while getting ready, your partner's face when they saw you for the first time, the toast that made everyone cry-laugh. And your aunt’s hilarious dance move that you totally missed—but I didn’t.
That's what you get with full wedding day coverage: a complete visual story that brings you right back to your wedding day.

These sessions let me keep telling your story as it unfolds—photographing couples I already know and love is my favorite thing. Milestone sessions can take place anywhere: your home, a meaningful location, or exploring somewhere new together.
We'll shoot together, you'll get comfortable in front of the camera, and I'll start learning what makes you laugh, how you naturally lean into each other, and all the little things that make you you as a couple.
